Mimigaluda (ミミガルダ)
A vtuber bullet hell fangame featuring Henemimi and KKCYBER, built using PICO-8. Weave through bullet curtain and take advantage of Hype energy to become the Top Oomfie!
Follow-up to MimiRADE.

Controls:
- Button O (Z): Shot - Shoot an endless barrage of missiles. Hold for slower movement.
- Button X (X): Barrier - Charges a powerful attack that grants temporary invulnerability, like any good shmup. Hold for greater effect.
- Menu Button (Enter) - Pause menu, PICO-8 standard. Option "Reset Cart" will return to the title screen.
NOTE: This game is written for use with a keyboard or dedicated controller. The PICO-8 mobile browser embed has virtual controls which ... are not ideal for this style of game. Sorry!
Modes:
No difficulty differences this time, just life mechanics:
- henemiNormal: Unlimited retries (LoLK Pointdevice Mode)
- henemiStrong: Five lives and you're out (LoLK Legacy Mode)

What is this Hype Meter?
Hyper Hype Mode is a manually-triggered fever mode that can be activated by pressing the Barrier button when the Hype Meter is full. Hype Mode grants a few bonuses when active:
- time slows down for everything
- normal shots and grazing grant more points
- when a boss phase is cleared, enemy bullets turn into valuable gold bonuses
- if hit, negates the hit at the cost of remaining Hype Meter
Managing these bonuses will be key to scoring.
Why did my score rollover?
Scores of 32768 and above will wrap around and have an exclamation point (!) prefixed. That's my quick and dirty workaround for PICO-8 number limits. orz
When is Phantasmagoria of Chuchubu?
I don't find the versus Touhou games enjoyable to play, and PICO-8 is the wrong platform for a multiplayer game besides.
